Self-Sabotage Is Not Random. It’s A Subconscious Identity Pattern.

If you’ve ever asked yourself, “Why do I keep getting in my own way?” — the answer is in your Self-Sabotage Identity Type.

The 6 Self-Sabotage Identity Types

We all have patterns that hold us back. Most people don’t even realize they have one—until they see it for themselves.

I call these the Self-Sabotage Identity Types. Here are the five most common ones I see in my coaching practice:

  • Overthinker – Always analyzing, rarely acting.

  • Starter-Sprinter – Starts fast, burns out faster.

  • Wall-Builder – Plays it safe, avoids risk at all costs.

  • Mask-Wearer – Appears confident, hides the truth.

  • Repeater – Stuck in familiar patterns that never change.

  • Savior - Sacrifices self to please everyone else.

Why This Matters

When you don’t know your type, it controls you.

When you do know your type, you can start making intentional, strategic changes that break the cycle for good.

Knowing your type is the first step toward lasting change—because it’s impossible to fix what you can’t see.

Want to Know Your Type?

Take the Self-Sabotage Identity Quiz and get:

  • Your dominant type

  • Why it’s been holding you back

  • A practical first step to stop the cycle for good

It’s free—and it might be the most eye-opening 5 minutes you spend this week.
